Description:

**Weekend Leasing Agents paid with a free apartment for working both Saturday and Sunday.

The leasing agent is the property’s first contact with prospective residents. They are the face of the property. A leasing agent is a professional sales consultant that uses interpersonal and selling skills to professionally present the features and benefits of the property and close the sale. A leasing agent is also a service consultant that takes seriously their responsibility to make current residents feel at home in their community.

Duties:

Conduct all business in accordance with company policy and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act and all other laws pertaining to apartments.

Greet prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, and professionally presents community and specific apartments while providing features and benefits.

Inspects models and “market ready” vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness.

Correctly completes all lease applications, assists with application verification and notifies prospective residents of results.

Completes all lease paperwork including related addendum’s, accepts rent payments and deposits.
Organizes and files appropriate reports, leases and paperwork.

Assists Property Manager and Assistant Manager in preparing daily and weekly reports, resident communications, move-out inventory, market surveys, etc.

Answers incoming phone calls and handles accordingly whether it is a prospect call, irate resident, service request, etc. transferring calls to Property Manager or Assistant Manager when appropriate.

Attends company meetings when requested
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Sales Experience preferred
